Register the Administration

Public administrations needing access to classified information must first be registered with the National Security Authority before they can submit requests for certificates.

Registration must be made by:

  • The responsible minister, who must also be the holder of a security clearance.


The application for registration requires the following steps:

  • Preparation a cover letter signed by the Minister
  • Confirmation of the legal status and company number of your organization
  • Appointment of a safety officer candidate and his / her transfer personal data: name, email, phone, national number
  • The request is to be sent via e-mail to or by mail to:
National Security Authority, Attn President, Karmelietenstraat 15, 1000 Brussels

Then creation of an "Habil" account for the administration will allow the safety officer to submit applications for security clearances for individuals.
